Tour Overview
A six-day journey through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti offers a perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Early arrivals at the airport start the safari right away with a visit to Tarangire. For those landing later, relaxing in Arusha or Karatu is advised before heading out. After enjoying Tarangire’s wildlife and unique landscapes, the next stop is Karatu for a restful evening. The following day begins with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, where predators and grazers share one of nature’s most stunning settings. The trip continues to Serengeti, where two days are spent exploring its endless plains and following migration trails. Final morning includes a short drive in Serengeti before heading back to Arusha—closing the safari with lasting memories from Tanzania’s top parks.
Guests who arrive early at the airport will drive straight to Tarangire National Park. The day starts with a game drive among giant baobab trees and a high chance to see elephants near the river. The drive is relaxed, stopping to view groups of zebras, giraffes, and big birds. Late afternoon, head to your lodge inside or near the park for a peaceful evening with sunset views.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short game drive as animals start to move in the cooler hours. It’s a good time to spot predators on the hunt and hear birds singing in the bush. Around mid-morning, begin your journey to Karatu, driving through scenic farmland and green hills. Arrive in Karatu for a relaxing evening with fresh local meals and a beautiful view of the highlands.

Leave Karatu early and head straight to Ngorongoro Crater. Once inside, enjoy a thrilling game drive on the crater floor—known for being rich with wildlife. You may see predators, grazers, and colorful birds in just one drive. The scenery is amazing, with steep crater walls and open grasslands. After picnic lunch, continue to Serengeti with a drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Serengeti late afternoon with a short sunset drive before checking into your camp.

Start your day early and explore different areas of Serengeti. The morning is good for spotting lions, cheetahs, and hyenas while they’re still active. Drive through open plains, rivers, and rocky kopjes. Break for bush lunch under a tree or near a quiet river. In the afternoon, follow the movements of large herds of wildebeest and zebras, especially during migration season. End the day with golden sunset views and dinner under the stars.

On your final day, take a short morning drive if time allows—catch one last glimpse of Serengeti’s beauty. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha by road. Pass through small villages, Maasai lands, and colorful roadside markets. You’ll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of a beautiful adventure.
