A 5-day journey through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater brings together some of the most varied and rewarding safari experiences in northern Tanzania. The trip starts with Tarangire, a peaceful park known for its large herds of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. Next is Lake Manyara, a green and compact park with surprising wildlife, from tree-climbing lions to colorful flocks of flamingos. The final stop is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to see animals all in one place, surrounded by dramatic scenery. With comfortable lodges, good guiding, and a nice pace throughout, it’s a well-rounded safari for anyone looking to enjoy nature without rushing.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a friendly face from Amoa Experience will be waiting. After a short drive, settle into your hotel in Arusha, relax, and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Overnight: Kahawa House , River Trees Country Inn

After breakfast, head out for a scenic drive to Tarangire. The park is known for its gentle atmosphere, giant baobabs, and large elephant families. Spend the day exploring its vast landscapes and watching wildlife near the river. Later, drive to your lodge in the nearby area for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Maramboi Tented Camp

Enjoy a relaxed morning before leaving Tarangire and making your way to Karatu, a lovely town near the Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive at your lodge in time for a peaceful afternoon and dinner surrounded by green hills and fresh highland air.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge

Leave early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This is one of the best places in Africa to spot a wide variety of animals in one area—lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, and even rhinos. After a picnic lunch in the crater, return to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxed evening.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, you may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and keep an eye out for the tree climbing lions that have become famous throughout East Africa. Enjoy picnic lunch in the park, and after your game drive you will be returned to Arusha for another program i.e Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or an additional overnight stay at Arusha.
