Tour Overview
This 4-day Tanzania Migration Safari takes you through two of the country’s most famous wildlife areas — the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. After landing, you’ll spend your first night in Karatu, resting before the adventure begins. The next day, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a beautiful ancient caldera full of lions, elephants, rhinos, and more. From there, head into the Serengeti, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the open plains during the Great Migration, often chased by predators in thrilling scenes of survival. After a full day of game drives, relax at a carefully chosen safari camp. On your last day, enjoy a final morning drive in the Serengeti before heading back to Arusha, carrying unforgettable memories.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your safari guide from Amoa Experience for a warm welcome. After a short briefing, begin the scenic drive to Karatu, a charming town near Ngorongoro. Along the way, enjoy views of Mount Meru, rolling hills, and Maasai villages. Arrive at the carefully selected accommodation , where you can relax after the journey. Enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for a restful night, preparing for the exciting safari ahead
Overnight: Eileens Trees
After an early breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in Africa. Descend into the vast caldera, home to the Big Five, large herds of zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a thrilling game drive across the crater floor, stopping for a picnic lunch near a scenic spot.
In the afternoon, begin the journey to the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with chances to spot Maasai herders and wildlife along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti plains just in time for a breathtaking sunset. Check into your safari camp, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind under the African night sky.
Overnight: Karibu Camps
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
Drive through different areas of the park, exploring riverbanks, acacia woodlands, and open grasslands where predators often hunt. Stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot, then continue the adventure with more wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration, as thousands of animals move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land.
As the sun begins to set, return to your safari camp, relax with a refreshing drink, and enjoy a warm dinner while reflecting on the day’s exciting moments.
Overnight: Karibu Camps
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti National Park. The journey back to Arusha offers scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, relax before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of an incredible safari adventure.
