Over the course of 10 days, a Tanzania safari unfolds across some of the country’s most iconic destinations, tailored specifically for senior travelers. The journey moves from the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire National Park to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, where diverse wildlife thrives within its unique ecosystem. In the Serengeti, a balloon safari at sunrise offers an extraordinary vantage point, providing a peaceful yet thrilling view of the vast plains and the Great Migration below. After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to rest after your journey.

Travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling into your lodge.

Spend the day exploring Tarangire with two game drives, giving you ample time to observe the park’s diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species.

Depart Tarangire and journey to the Ngorongoro area, with optional stops at local markets or cultural sites along the way. Upon arrival, relax at your lodge with stunning views of the surrounding highlands.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of wildlife viewing. The crater floor is home to a wide range of animals, including rhinos, elephants, lions, and flamingos by the soda lake.

After a relaxed morning, travel to the Serengeti, witnessing the changing landscapes as you move from the highlands to the open plains. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy a peaceful evening.

Explore the Serengeti’s vast plains on game drives, where you might spot cheetahs, lions, giraffes, and possibly even the Great Migration, depending on the season.

Begin your day with a sunrise balloon safari over the Serengeti. Drift over the plains, observing wildlife from above, followed by a special champagne breakfast in the bush.

Enjoy a final morning game drive, with the rest of the day at your lodge to relax, take in the scenery, or enjoy optional activities such as a guided nature walk.

Travel back to Arusha, where you’ll have time for last-minute shopping or a brief city tour before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
